Successful Kappa Xi Recruitment

Kappa Xi's Fall Recruitment was absolutely beautiful this year. It was well-planned by Jordan Yoder, the Vice President of Membership for Kappa Xi and executed perfectly by all collegiate members.

The house was nicely decorated for House Tours with a pink and black theme. During Philanthropy Night, each potential new member decorated a fabric square that will later be made into a large quilt. During Skit Night, the chapter showed off their singing, dancing and acting skills by interpreting the old Nickleodeon show "All That".  Then came Preference Night, one of the most heart-warming events during recruitment. They expressed how special being in Sigma Kappa was for them through personal stories and song. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone was crying by the end of each event.

Many of the alumnae were able to witness these events because so many of you volunteered. It was exciting to see so much help from Kappa Xi alumnae as well as other alumnae in the area. That's what Sigma Kappa is all about. We give back to each other by being their for one another. Thank you to all who volunteered. Kappa Xi is truly grateful for the time you put in.

Now – for the exciting news you've all been waiting to hear!!! Kappa Xi welcomed 49 new members to the chapter on Monday, September 5th. Yup, you read right! 49 new members! They recruited the most women out of all the Panhellenic chapters this year. BIG congrats to their huge success!

I hope you will take the time this fall to meet all these wonderful ladies. There are many events coming up that will give you the opportunity to meet them - not all of them (there are far too many girls to meet at one event) but at least a handful.

Thank you for all you do!
