Nut Sale for Reno City Alumnae Panhellenic

Dear Sigma Kappa Ladies,

It is that time of year again when the Reno City Alumnae Panhellenic holds its Nut Sale Fund Raiser.

First, however, I want to tell you that this month, when the Panhellenic group meets, we will be changing the name of the organization to better reflect its "boundaries"... to Northern Nevada Alumnae Panhellenic.

That said, here is what we are doing this year. We again have bags of 3 kinds of nuts for sale. Between $100 and $150 (depending upon the sales) will go to each of the 5 UNR sororities' local branch of their charity.

Please order your nuts through me and send me your check. Orders are due no later than Oct. 28. I should have the bags for you by our Nov. 5 Founder's Day meeting. If you can not attend the November meeting, I can make other arrangements with you.

1 pound of Almonds - $6
1 pound Walnuts (halves and pieces) - $7
1 pound of Pecans - $9

Consider using them in salads, brownies, and the like - plus give a bag or 2 for the holidays.
